Marianne Carter

Marianne is an associate in the firm, joining after a decade sabbatical from law practice. She previously spent twenty plus years with McCarter & English LLP (formerly Gadsby Hannah LLP) where she was a general partner in the corporate group. Her practice includes representation of borrowers and lenders in secured financing transactions, and corporate transactions and governance, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, and private equity transactions.

Marianne received her JD from Harvard Law School (1980) and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science, Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst (1977).

Marianne is married to Joseph Carter, a Logistics Specialist and they have three children.
